Data is collected, processed and maintained by Nexo Traduções.

Nexo Traduções gathers data, including personal data, in the following ways:
  • Business process;
  • General information requests;
  • Budget requests;
  • Online forms;
  • Event management (in person and/or online);
  • Recruitment or spontaneous application processes;
  • Consultation processes.

Depending on the nature of the interaction, and only when necessary, Nexo Traduções may request some personal data, including name, email, address, telephone number, identification document number/tax number, date of birth, gender, nationality, academic qualifications, professional status and/or bank/payment details.

Why we collect data
Nexo Traduções only collects and processes strictly necessary data, only in connection with the matter at hand, in accordance with the data owner’s consent and for legitimate purposes, such as:
  • Providing a suitable and targeted response to requests for information/proposal;
  • Communicating better with you on relevant matters as required, and only with the necessary frequency, according to the nature of your data and your personal preferences;

Whenever there is no specific legal obligation, personal data will be processed and stored by us only for as long as it is necessary to complete the defined task. The commercial relationship between Nexo Traduções and the data owners is ongoing.

The period your data is retained may change significantly when used for scientific or statistical purposes, although Nexo Traduções undertakes to apply appropriate retention and security measures. As soon as the data is no longer required for the fulfilment of contractual or legal obligations, it will be erased or periodically deleted.

Nexo Traduções may share your personal data with third parties, ensuring that it will be used exclusively for the purposes set out.

Digital Marketing Service Providers
We periodically appoint digital marketing agents to conduct marketing activity on our behalf, such activity may result in the compliant processing of personal information.
